midigarden is designed with privacy in mind. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
We do not collect any data. midigarden does not:
midigarden requests camera access to display a live camera feed behind the music grid. This feature is entirely optional and intended for creating visual backgrounds during performances or screen recordings.

You can deny camera access and use the app normally with a black background.
midigarden requests microphone access to enable audio input for Pure Data patches that use microphone signals (effects, sampling, vocoding, etc.).

This data remains on your device and is accessible via the iOS Files app. It is included in iCloud backups if you have iCloud Backup enabled.
midigarden does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
midigarden does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
